Melega Score is owned and operated by Melega Space. It reads only observed evidence — market, security, identity, community and activity — and publishes the reasoning behind every number.

This page documents the Melega Space implementation of scoring. The canonical ecosystem-wide standard is the Melega Score Core Spec melega-score-v1; where the two differ, the Core Spec is the canonical direction. Read the Core Spec.

Scoring philosophy
  • • Transparent — every indicator, weight and band is published on this page.
  • • Explainable — every score ships a reason log naming the evidence behind it.
  • • Evidence-based — an unobserved indicator lowers coverage, it never invents a value.
  • • Manipulation-resistant — indicators are weighted by how hard they are to fake.
  • • Independent — paid visibility, listings and campaigns can never move a score.

Formula space-candidate-1 is a candidate model. Scores are computed and published with their coverage, and the model is versioned: when it is ratified, every snapshot records the version that produced it.

Open risks cap the score band. A missing observation is reported as unobserved — never as a risk.

Strong evidence across most domains, minor gaps remain.

Verified
Objective qualification with real market and identity evidence.

Emerging
Early or partially observed. Evidence coverage is limited.

Watch
Weak evidence or open risks. Treat with caution.
Public score API and badge

Every score is readable and embeddable. Scores are recomputed from live evidence and each change is recorded in the project score history.
